Radio assignment

1. What is your style, are you a Generator or a Reactor? Discuss examples from your show?

I feel like I am a reactor. It is easier for me to do a show with another person because I find it easier to go back and forth with  ideas and comments. It makes things have more sides to it then just a one sided opinion.

 2. If you are doing a show with a partner or team, explain the style of each team member. Does your show have a mix of personality types or is everyone the same? Does this lead to conflict?

Sheri and I work really well together. This is Sheri's first radio experience but I feel like our styles are quite similar. We have a lot of the same tastes which makes the show fun and interesting.

 3. What was the most interesting topic you talked about? What was the least interesting topic?

Our Valentines day show was our favorite to talk about. We had a lot to talk about and played awesome love songs. The least interesting topic we talked about was the superbowl. We both are not sports people so it wasn't something we were interested in.

 4. How did you open your show?

We open our show by introducing ourselves and talking about the random topics we would have thoughout the semester.

 5. How often do you mention your name and the name of your show? How often do you mention the call letters (WKNJ) and dial position (90.3) and station phrase (Cougar Radio)?

We mention everything after we have talked for a long period of time and are switching to music, and we mention it when we are returning from our music.

 6. Did you preview a forthcoming segment of your show? For example, “up next, we’ll be discussing our best valentines day ever!”

We did exactly that. The week before valentines day we said that our show was going to feature love songs and plans for valentines day in the upcoming week. On our valentines day show we discussed  the most talked about movie 50 Shades of Grey and for our show in the next week, we talked about what we thought about it once we had seen it.
